Finally the Infinity Mirror is hanging

It may not look like it was difficult to hang this piece of art but it took several weeks and questions to many people to determine how to hang the 36 lb mirror that sticks out from the wall about 8 or so inches.

There was no stud in the wall and we were so afraid that it would come crashing off the wall breaking the mirror and damaging the wall and the tile floor.

Ray and Vita helped us and it is now hanging.

Hooray!

A Typical Day Right now

We started first thing - 8 am with Tucson Rolling Shutters technicians installing our last exterior rolling shutter in the breakfast nook and repairing one of the two in the master bath.

Then on to Dennis, our "pool guy" who comes once a week to clean and monitor the pool.

Then we had received a referral from our friend Sarah here for an irrigation company as we had noticed water near the pool equipment and our "pool guy" determined it was an irrigation leak.

20 minutes after we called Paul Berkely from Berkely Irrigation and his assistant, Carlos, came and started digging with picks and shovels. They found the leak, replaced the hose, and covered it up.

Paul taught us quite a bit about our irrigation system and the monitoring box which controls four zones in our property. While we were walking around trying to figure out the zones we noticed another leak and Carlos dug out the shovels in this case and fixed it in minutes.

Paul and Carlos are a real find for us.

Then we went shopping for a few items for the house and we felt we deserved a nice dinner.

Michael made chicken parmiagiana which was wonderful.

And of course I fell asleep before Michael.

The day before I missed taking pictures of our "pest, termite and rodent guy", Trent but I did post a picture of one of the termite bait traps here.

Not Sheepish about My Wine Thoughts

This blog is dedicated to the inexpensive enjoyment of wine - I would buy the 5 cent bottle every time.
